With over 50 years of flooring experience under his belt, John has seen just about everything the industry has to offer — and he'll probably have a quote or analogy to go along with it. One of ten kids, John brings a big-family mentality to everything he does: roll up your sleeves, take care of people, and show up every day. When he's not on the floor, you'll find him on one.

Matt grew up in this business — literally. As John's son and the second generation of Barton Carpets, he's been watching, learning, and selling since before it was his job. Full-time since 2014, Matt specializes in residential flooring sales and design, with a knack for working alongside realtors, interior decorators, and senior living communities. His approach is straightforward: find the right product, for the right purpose, at the right price. He's passionate about carrying forward what his dad built in 1994 and bringing the same value and experience to a new generation of customers. Outside the showroom, he's chasing spicy food, planning his next trip, and spending time with his Rottweiler, Bozeman. His go-to product? Engineered Floors — every time.

Kevin literally grew up across the street from Barton Carpets, so it's safe to say this place is in his blood. He started in the warehouse back in 1999 and worked his way into becoming one of the team's top-producing salespeople — a title he's held for a long time. Kevin knows flooring inside and out, and his Shaw product expertise is second to none. Beyond sales, he helps manage the installers and warehouse, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Away from work, Kevin is a proud dad, a boating enthusiast, and the president of his local gun club. He's the kind of teammate who's been here through it all — and you can feel that the moment you walk in.

Before Foyle ever set foot behind a sales counter, he spent years on his knees installing floors alongside his brother — and that hands-on background shows in everything he does. With Barton Carpets since 2006, he brings a rare combination of installation knowledge and genuine care for every single person he works with. Foyle handles it all, but he has a particular talent for building lasting relationships with school systems and institutional clients. Meticulous, knowledgeable, and deeply personable, he's the kind of salesperson who remembers your project long after it's finished. A lifelong Philly sports fan, Foyle's happiest moments off the clock are spent with his family and his grandkids.

George is a Gloucester City homegrown — and Barton Carpets is lucky to have him. He joined the team in 2018, starting in the warehouse before discovering a natural talent for sales. His installation background gives him a real edge: when George recommends a product, he knows exactly how it goes down and how it holds up. Reliable, caring, and genuinely fun to be around, George keeps the energy light in the showroom. He's a Phillies and Flyers guy through and through — though we'll note, with some affection, that he does own a 49ers hoodie. You've been warned.

Ask anyone on the team who keeps this place together, and the answer is unanimous: Alicia. Nicknamed "the Glue" for good reason, she's been the behind-the-scenes backbone of Barton Carpets since 2008. From bookkeeping to claims management, Alicia handles the work that most customers never see — and handles it flawlessly. She's a dedicated mom, a dog lover (three of them, to be exact), and a passionate Flyers fan. The business simply doesn't run without her.

If you've ever called Barton Carpets, there's a good chance you've already met Joanne — even if you didn't catch her name. As the heart of our scheduling, receivables, and day-to-day office operations, she's the central hub that every job flows through. With us since 2020, Joanne knows each and every project inside and out, and she has a gift for keeping things organized and communicating clearly with customers and crew alike. She's warm, dependable, and endlessly patient. Family time is her favorite way to recharge.

Vick is the engine in the warehouse that keeps everything moving. Since joining the team in 2020, he's taken ownership of inventory, materials receiving, and order fulfillment — making sure that what's sold in the showroom is ready to go when it needs to be. Precise, hardworking, and quietly impressive, Vick brings the same discipline to the warehouse that he brings to the weight room. Outside of work, he's a devoted husband and dad — with a baby daughter on the way — and somehow also finds time to build his own video game apps. Yes, really.
